HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENTAL (HSE) POLICY

The management of EISA KHAN Building Contracting LLC is committed to implement and maintain a safety, health and environmental management system in accordance with the requirements. In order to address these objectives EISA KHAN Building Contracting LLC is committed to take all reasonable and practicable following steps.

  • Implementing and operating and HSE management system to maintain the highest HSE standards in line with vision to be a world class company.
  • A systematic approach to HSE management designed to ensure compliances with UAE laws and regulations, laws and by-laws that are applicable to area or region that we work in and international standards, including ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
  • Client satisfaction in meeting all contract obligations
  • Employee’s protection in providing a safe, healthy and secure place for work, with adequate safety training.
  • Ensure that personnel suffer no time loss from repetition of wrongly planned activities.
  • Ensure that company operates in responsible manner with due regard to ensure the health and safety of all stake holders and prevent pollution of the environment by any operation under the company’s control.
  • Prevent unnecessary losses relating to life, property and environmental resources initiated by all reasonably foreseeable causes.
  • Ensure that capabilities of personnel and plant suitably match the requirements of the task and provide ongoing training skills and specialized equipment to facilitate the task.
  • Investigate thoroughly all incidents and near misses owing to non-conformance with procedures in order to prevent nonoccurrence.

SAFETY

EKBC executives, managers, and supervisors are committed to the continuous improvement of its operations to provide a safe and healthful place to work. The elimination of hazards, and the proper communication, instruction, tools and personal protective equipment to deal with hazards that cannot be eliminated, promotes the atmosphere for accident free job sites.

The nature of work, also involving rigging and structural steel erection, is recognized as the most dangerous in construction. EKBC experience statistics demonstrate that EKBC has developed programs to effectively deal with the industry acknowledged dangers of hazardous substances and exposure to lead from lead-based paints, as well as pro-active programs to deal with fall protection. Programs for matters such as netting and scaffolding are built into the planning of job site operations.

Maintaining a drug free work environment provides owners, other contractors, and employees, some assurance that their safety and health will not be compromised by individuals who are under the influence of substances that do not belong in the construction environment.
